Snake’s Tail

You can start this game off by teaching your campers about “Uroborus” which is a mythical symbol of a snake eating itself, starting at the tail.

Object: Person in the front of the line tags the person at the end of the line.

Area: Large enough and clear enough to accommodate a moving group of people who aren’t looking where they are going. A park open space works well.

Number of Participants: 8 – 14

Materials: None

Set-up: Have your group stand in a line, all facing the same direction with their hands on the shoulders of the person in front of them.

How To Play: At “GO”, the person in the front tries to tag the person at the end of the line. Everyone in line tries to follow the person in front of them. The line must not separate or break while play is in motion or the line must be re-set.
