Marco Polo

This game is meant to be played in a pool but it is adapted here for the playground.

Materials: blindfold, boundary markers

Area: large enough to accommodate the amount of players. Make sure you play this on a smooth play surface with no walls, posts or other obstructions a blindfolded person can bump into.

How To Play: One person is “it”, is blindfolded. They try and tag someone who is not it. The person who is “it” counts to ten and then calls out, “MARCO”. All participants must answer by saying “POLO” no matter where they are. All players must stay inside the boundary.

If a person goes outside of the boundary and the person who is “it” calls “FISH OUT OF WATER” the person who was out of bounds, is now “it”.
