Rope Shapes

This is a great lower-level groupbuilder that doesn’t require a lot of strategy.

Materials: one rope, 50’ – 100′ long, tied to itself in a firm knot. If the group is smaller (like 10-12 people) the rope should be smaller too. Participants should be about arms length from each other.

How To Play:
Everyone in the group holds a section of the rope with both hands. Facilitator has the group make shapes , out of the rope, such as triangle, square and figure eight. The facilitator changes the challenge by having the group make the shape without talking, or with their eyes closed. When the group has made the shape they have to say together “We did it”!
